A Teacher e-Portfolio is:

"A collection of authentic and diverse evidence of teaching competence that has been the subject of reflection, synthesis and selection for presentation to a professional audience for a specific purpose"

The Te-PNI project is comprised of a Working Group and a Project Advisory Board (PAB). The role of the Working Group is to: 

  • Organise, deliver and evaluate all project activities within represented organisations;
  • Provide regular updates and phase reports to the PAB;
  • Liaise with key personnel within organisations to facilitate Te-PNI and PDP-related activities;
  • Represent organisational needs and wishes to the Working Group;
  • Contribute to the development of the project;
  • Support the professional development of learners and learner-support personnel within their organisation.

 The role of the PAB is to:

  • Provide support, strategic direction and advice to the Working Group;
  • Receive  and ratify reports from the Working Group;
  • Represent project needs and outcomes to external  organisations such as DE, GTCNI, RTU, Becta, TDA and others;
  • Review all project activities within partner organisations with a view to providing providing coherent and consensus-based development.
